CodeSignal Beyond Event Terms and Conditions

Thank you for your interest in attending the CodeSignal Beyond Conference hosted by CodeSignal Inc (“CodeSignal”, “we”, “us” or “our”). These Event Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the CodeSignal Beyond Conference (“Event(s)”). By registering for or attending this Event, you agree to comply with these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy, which can be found here.

Please read these Terms carefully before registering or attending. We reserve the right to revoke your ticket or terminate access to the Event if we believe, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms.

1. Event Registration

1.1 Eligibility

To register for and attend an Event, you must be:

  • actively practicing in the field of Talent Acquisition in a Talent Leadership, Recruiting Operations, Recruiting, Sourcing, or another directly related role; and
  • at least 21 years old.

By registering for the Event, you represent that you meet the eligibility requirements. CodeSignal reserves the right to confirm eligibility, refuse attendance, and / or process refunds at our sole discretion to those who (i) do not meet the eligibility criteria, or (ii) work at vendors, competitors or non-sponsoring partners.

1.2 Registration Information and Confirmation

When registering for an Event, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your registration details. Your registration for the Event is considered final upon submission of a complete registration form, including payment information. Upon completion of registration, the Registrant will receive an email confirming registration.

1.3 Event Capacity

Some Events may have limited capacity. Your registration is subject to availability and will be confirmed upon acceptance by Codesignal. If the Event is fully booked, you may be placed on a waiting list.

2. Admittance and Attendance Guidelines

2.1 Event Check-In and Admission

  • You must check in at the registration desk upon arrival. You will be required to present a valid photo ID and your Event confirmation email.
  • Your Event registration is valid only for the registered person. Unauthorized access to the Event by non-registered individuals or those registered under false pretenses is prohibited and we retain the right to any Event registration fees submitted for registration.
  • CodeSignal reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any participant from the Event if they fail to adhere to these Terms or engage in disruptive behavior, including but not limited to harassment, violation of event policies, or failure to comply with health and safety protocols.
  • Registrants will be required to wear Event name badges at all times (identification will be verified) and shall not swap, share or loan his/her badge with/to any other person(s).
  • Registrants are also required to comply with all rules of the venue.
  • All packages, bags, and other containers may be subject to search upon entry to the Event, and may be required to be stored during the Event. Registrants may be denied entry if they refuse to participate in these security measures.

2.2 Transfer and Substitution Policy

If you are unable to attend the Event, you may be able to transfer your registration to another person at no additional charge, subject to availability and approval. Transfer requests must be made at least 72 hours before the Event begins. Please contact beyond@codesignal.com to request a transfer.

2.3 Event Capacity and Waiting Lists

The Event has limited capacity, and registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If the Event is fully booked, a waiting list may be created. If spots become available, individuals on the waiting list will be notified and given priority for registration.

2.4 Late Arrival

For both in-person and virtual Events, please be on time. Late arrivals may experience difficulty accessing the Event and may not be allowed entry after the Event has started, particularly for interactive sessions, webinars, or presentations where participation is required.

3. Event Access and Participation

3.1 Event Format

The format, content, and schedule of the Event may change at any time without prior notice. CodeSignal reserves the right to modify the Event program as needed.

3.2 Event Arrangements and Costs

You are responsible for your own travel and accommodation arrangements and costs are at your own expense.

3.3 Accessibility & Accommodation

CodeSignal will provide reasonable accommodations for accessibility and disability needs for attendees. Attendees must notify CodeSignal in advance of any accommodations necessary by email to beyond@codesignal.com

3.4 Code of Conduct

By registering for and attending the Event, you agree to adhere to CodeSignal’s code of conduct, which includes but is not limited to:

  • Treating all participants, speakers, and organizers with respect and courtesy.
  • Not engaging in disruptive behavior or harassment of any kind.
  • Complying with all Event-related instructions provided by CodeSignal and Event staff.

Failure to adhere to the code of conduct may result in removal from the Event without refund.

4. Fees and Payment

4.1 Event Fees

Full payment of the Event fee must be provided upon submission of the registration form. CodeSignal accepts payment via credit card as specified during the registration process.

4.2 Refunds and Cancellations

To cancel a registration, the Registrant must notify the CodeSignal team via email at beyond@codesignal.com for consideration.

4.3 No-Show Policy

If you do not attend the Event or fail to notify CodeSignal within the specified cancellation period, you will be considered a “no-show.” No-shows will not be eligible for a refund.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership of Content

All materials, presentations, logos and content provided during the Event, including but not limited to presentations, videos, and documents, are the intellectual property of CodeSignal or third-party content providers. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any Event content for commercial purposes without prior written consent from the respective rights holders.

5.2 Recording of Event

CodeSignal may record the Event (including audio, video, photography and other materials) and use such recordings for promotional, educational, or other business purposes including by sharing them on social media channels such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, X (formerly known as Twitter) and Facebook. By registering for and attending the Event, you consent to being recorded.

5.3 Use of Photos and Videos

Each Registrant grants CodeSignal and/or such third parties the right to later use, publish, broadcast or post such media in any format or medium for promotional purposes, including without limitation, publicly via online posting on the CodeSignal website or another third party website, without remuneration to such Registrant of any kind. To the extent a Registrant is identified during any such recording, or identifies itself by name, the Registrant further acknowledges that such information may be included in such recorded materials.

6. Privacy and Data Collection

6.1 Data Collection

CodeSignal will collect and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be found here. By attending the Event, you consent to our collection, use, and sharing of personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

6.2 Third-Party Services

In order to facilitate the Event, CodeSignal may use third-party platforms or services (e.g., event management platforms, virtual event tools, etc.). These third-party services may collect your data separately from CodeSignal.

6.3 Marketing Communications

By registering for the Event, you agree to receive communications related to the Event, including but not limited to registration confirmations, reminders, and Event-related updates. You may opt-out of non-Event-related communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in any marketing email.

6.4 Sharing of Registration Information with Event Sponsors

By registering for the Event, you acknowledge and agree that CodeSignal may share certain registration information you provide, including your name, job title, company, and email address, with Event sponsors for the limited purpose of enabling them to conduct Event-related or marketing outreach after the Event. Event sponsors are prohibited from selling, sharing or disclosing your information to third parties, or retaining it beyond the period reasonably necessary. You may opt out of sponsor communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided by the sponsor.

7. Liability and Disclaimer

7.1 Limitation of Liability

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in these Event Terms, CodeSignal shall have no liability for any loss, damage, cost, claim or penalty of whatsoever nature, including but not limited to indirect and consequential damages and loss of profits, however arising out of or in connection with these Event Terms, the CodeSignal website or the Event. The Registrant assumes all responsibility and risk for the use of the Website and/or attendance to or registration for the Event and CodeSignal disclaims all liability for any loss, injury, damage, cost, penalty or claim resulting from the Registrant’s use of the website and/or attendance to or registration for the Event, whether direct or indirect, and whether or not CodeSignal has been advised of or has knowledge of the possibility of such loss, injury, damage, cost, penalty or claim resulting from the use of the website and/or attendance to or registration for the Event, whether direct or indirect.

7.2 Force Majeure

CodeSignal shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations under these Terms if such delay or failure is caused by events outside of its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, government actions, war, fire, flood, strikes, or power failures.

7.3 Health and Safety

For in-person Events, you agree to follow all safety protocols, including but not limited to those related to health, security, and venue rules. CodeSignal reserves the right to deny entry to the Event or remove you from the Event if you fail to comply with these protocols

8. Changes to Event Terms

CodeSignal reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting the updated Terms on our website. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically for any updates.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms, and any claim or dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your participation in the Event shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. The parties consent to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the federal and state courts located in San Francisco, California.
