Teamwork in Your Brain and Your Learning

Unlocking your learning potential is not a solo act—it's a team effort happening both inside your brain and with the people around you. In this unit, you'll discover how the two hemispheres of your brain work together, why collaboration with others is so powerful, and how to avoid common pitfalls that can hold you back. By understanding these dynamics, you’ll be able to approach challenges with more creativity, accuracy, and confidence.

Barbara Oakley shares wisdom on collaboration between both the two hemispheres of your brain and with other people.

Approach your learning like a team sport: use both hemispheres of your brain, and work with others to catch mistakes, reinforce knowledge, and see new perspectives. By combining the strengths of your brain and your learning community, you’ll be able to tackle challenges more effectively and achieve greater success.

In the upcoming role-play session, you’ll get a chance to practice these collaboration skills and see firsthand how teamwork—both in your brain and with others—can transform your learning experience.
