You'll extend your one-step skills to inequalities that need several moves first. You'll combine like terms, expand parentheses, handle variables on both sides, and learn to read the unusual results that mean every number works or no number does.

You'll express inequality solutions in several connected ways. You'll write interval notation, move fluently between inequalities, number lines, and intervals, and interpret what a solution means in everyday situations.

You'll tackle inequalities built from two conditions joined by "and" or "or," and see how each connective shapes a different solution set. You'll solve both types, including three-part chained inequalities, and show your solutions on a number line and in interval notation.
