The CodeSignal platform is constantly improving and expanding to meet the needs and standards of the industry. In this episode we look at a new feature – a mongoDB task! Although the implementation is somewhat experimental, it’s already doing a great job of providing high quality automated assessment.
Similarly to other types of tasks, the user’s code is sent to a coderunner server, which executes their queries within a docker container. This helps ensure that the testing can be performed quickly, free of influence from external factors.
Even though this is a relatively new type of task, users will find it largely familiar, on account of the standardized user interface. The IDE, task description, and test console are all consistent and intuitive across all task types.
